The Office of Economic Impact and Diversity and the Professional Opportunities for Women at Energy Realized (POWER) Employee Resource Group invite you to join us as we celebrate Women's History Month. The theme for our Program is Women of Courage, and the program will highlight women in the federal sector who will share their experiences in ascending the career ladder in their respective fields. Ms. Melody C. Bell, Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Resource Management, Office of Environmental Management (EM), will serve as the Keynote Speaker. In her current capacity, Ms. Bell provides leadership and direction in implementing key activities that center around empowerment, engagement, diversity and inclusion, and continuous improvement to promote positive organizational culture change within EM.
The Program will also include a panel discussion moderated by Cecily Johnson, DOE Office of Equal Employment Opportunity. The panelists will include the following individuals: Kathryn Glynn, Foreign Affairs Specialist, Office of Nonproliferation and Arms Control, National Nuclear Security Administration; Sharon Wong, Executive Director, Strategic Recruitment and Diversity and Inclusion, U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Veronica Villalobos, Principal Deputy Director, Employee Service Division, Office of Personnel Management; and Denise Abrahams, Deputy Director, Justice Management Division, Equal Employment Opportunity Staff, U.S. Department of Justice.
